Flat monthly prices. No word limits.
Civet has three planned plans: Free ($0, 1 language, up to 50 products), Starter ($29/month, 3 languages, up to 5,000 products) and Growth ($79/month, up to 20 languages, unlimited products under fair use). Paid plans are billed through Shopify with a 14-day free trial, capped at 500 products until the first charge. No word counts and no API key of your own. Civet is in development, so prices may change before launch.

Pricing FAQ
Billing questions
- Is there a free trial?
Yes. Starter and Growth include a 14-day free trial, billed through Shopify, one per store. During the trial Civet translates up to 500 products. Once the first charge goes through, your plan's full limits apply. If you uninstall before the trial ends, you aren't charged.
- Are there word limits or credits?
No. Plans are limited by number of languages and products, never by words. You don't need your own API key.
- What does "fair use" mean on Growth?
Growth covers every language your store supports (Shopify allows up to 20) and products up to roughly 50,000. Very large catalogs above that may need a custom plan. We'll tell you before charging anything different, and nothing changes without your approval through Shopify.
- What happens when I uninstall?
Your translations stay. They're saved in Shopify's own translation fields, not in Civet, so your translated store keeps working exactly as it is. You can still edit them in the Shopify admin.
There's nothing to clean up: no script, no theme code, no DNS records. Billing stops through Shopify. What goes away is Civet itself: auto-sync, the undo history, the glossary and the SEO audit. When Shopify sends its data-deletion request after uninstall, we delete what we stored for your shop.
